OUR PASTOR

Pastor Gary and Kathy Monnens are from The Door Christian Fellowship Church in Chandler Arizona, Pastored by Joseph, and Connie Campbell, and are affiliated with The Potter House Ministries founded by the late Pastor Wayman Mitchell and his late wife, Nelda.

​

Gary and Kathy were saved in Newberg, Oregon in 1982, and were sent out to pastor their first church in 1989 in Bellingham, Washington.

​

Since then, we have pastored in Oregon, again in Washington, also Kansas, and we were on staff at The Door Church in Arizona, then became an evangelist, then pastored 9 years in North Carolina, and then became missionaries to Guangzhou, China for 4 years. And are now pastoring The Door Church in Pittsburg, Kansas.

We raised two boys who are now married, have children, and are involved in children’s ministry in the churches they are going to.

​

We will be married for 42 years in August 2022.
